La rugosité mate de la terre cuite contraste avec l'éclat métallique du bronze — entre archaïsme et préciosité, objet rituel et forme sculpturale.

Hand-sculpted red Brazil stoneware. The bowl rests on a fluted base, flanked by arched handles whose tops are crowned with artichoke heads in mirror-polished gold bronze. The matte texture of the terracotta contrasts with the metallic sheen of the bronze—a blend of archaism and refinement, a ritual object and a sculptural form.
